My exciting find
I took the girls to the house where my sister babysits a lot so they could go swimming. And in their casement was this perfect little lingerie chest that they were trying to get rid of. I have been searching for one for Noahs room since I was 6 months pregnant. I got this for $75 and its really nice. And newly painted by me. I think it looks great.
And I found this rug at walmart for $20. I am making him a shaggy raggy rug but with 6 kids I have not had much time to work on it. This will work until I finish it.

Girls, if you are going to break the rules and sneakily climb into Noah's crib when I specifically told you not to, do not leave your flip flop in the slats...
Noah- 2 months
Noah's 2 month check up went really well. He had to get shots which always kills me but he did not cry very long. Hannah and Leah had to wait outside because they said that his crying would hurt their heart. Bless them.

Length: 23 3/4inches (75%)
Weight: 11lbs 10.5oz (50%)
Head Circumference: 15 1/2 cm (50%)
At 2 months he has become a belly sleeper. We bought the Angel Movement Monitor because his startle reflex is so bad that if he lays on his back at all and hears the slightest noise he freaks out. This is why he hates the car I have learned. However he hates to be swaddled as well so unless he is on his belly he wont sleep. But once we started letting him do that he went from waking up every hour or two to sleeping 7 hours or so. Fabulous.
He loves his crib. He will snooze if desperate in his swing, but goes to sleep immediately in his crib. I hope this continues.
He has started to really smile and even give a little cackle at times. That smile makes all the night wakings totally worth it.
I originally felt like he was a needy baby. Now I have him figured out. If he naps 2 hours after he wakes up he is happy. Simple really. Makes my life easier.
He is a great nurser and I am thrilled that I have not had to supplement formula. It helps that I am not working of course.
He likes his paci but prefers his entire fist. And he makes the loudest sucking noise ever. Hilarious.
The third baby is so much easier! And he is so precious :)

Visiting Nina in the hospital
My beach trip was cut a little short because my 92 year old grandmother ended up in the hospital with a blood pressure of 230/90. She has alzheimer's and was getting very confused and upset as to why she was in the hospital and where my granddad was (he passed away 3 1/2 years ago).
It is amazing how children can brighten up the elderly. When I walked into the room my grandmother was staring off into space, virtually unaware of her surroundings. Once the girls and Noah were there she lit up. It was a very sweet moment.
The time when Hannah and Nina were coloring was very special. I havent seen my grandmother so animated in a long time. I think we will be taking crayons and a coloring book whenever we visit her from now on.
She is out of the hospital now but is needing full time sitters. All because of an unchecked UTI. Getting old is awful. period.
Beach Trip June 2012
My awesome in-laws took us to Panama City for a few days in June. The weather was gorgeous on the beach that week. Clear water, steady breeze, and blue skies. And I even got some time to play with the girls while Noah hung out under the umbrella with Dandy. I think Dandy hated every minute of it. :)
We were able to walk to the beach from the condo which was a nice change from where we normally go. I enjoyed a few moments laying out, reading a book while the girls played in the sand, and Noah slept in the room while Matt watched golf. Win win.
This video is of nothing exciting. It is only proof of my girls playing on their own (Leah is way in the background). It doesnt happen often.

After the trip to PC ended I decided to take the kids to Destin. There was no breeze, it was 108 degrees, and the water had jelly fish. We played in the backyard jacuzzi for a few days.

Overall great trip. And sweet hannah even gave up her TV on the car ride home so her little brother could watch it. Adding that 3rd child made the trip a bit longer!
